Symptoms of Lung Cancer
Symptoms and signs of lung cancer may include:
- New cough or changes in an existing cough
- Coughing up blood
- Breathlessness
- Voice hoarseness
- Pain in the chest
- Unresolved chest infection
Symptoms of advanced lung cancer may include:
- Tiredness
- Extreme shortness of breath
- Difficulty swallowing /hoarseness
- Coughing or spitting up blood
- Weight loss/loss of appetite
- Pain in other body sites e.g. spine or hips

Please see your GP for further testing if any of the above symptoms are unexplained, persistent and last more than 3 weeks.
